We believe that the whole Bible, in the original manuscripts, was inspired by God and without error. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Bible centers on the Lord Jesus Christ in His person and work and was designed for our practical instruction. (Luke 24:27, 44; John 5:39; Acts 17:2-3; Rom. 15:4; 1 Cor. 2:13; 10:11; 2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
We believe that the Godhead eternally exists in three persons - the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. These three are one God having precisely the same nature, attributes and perfections, and worthy of precisely the same worship, confidence, and obedience. (Matt. 28:18-19; Mark 12:29; John 1:14; Acts 5:3-4; 2 Cor. 13:14; Heb. 1:1-3; Rev. 1:4-6)
We believe that, as provided and purposed by God and announced in the Bible, the eternal Son of God came into this world to manifest God to men, fulfill prophecy and become the Redeemer of a lost world. To this end He was born of a virgin, and received a human body and a sinless human nature. He offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return again someday to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We believe that on the human side, He became and remained a perfect man, sinless throughout His life; yet he retained His absolute deity being at the same time fully God and fully man. (Luke 1:30-35, 2:40; John 1:1-2, 1:18, 3:16; Phil. 2:5-8; Heb. 4:15)
THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of the need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer a spiritual gift when they are saved. As Christians we seek to live under His control daily. (John 16:7-13, 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; 1 Cor. 2:12, 3:16; 2 Cor. 3:17; Gal. 5:25; Eph. 1:13, 5:18)
We believe that God's free gift of salvation is by grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that our redemption has been accomplished solely by the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ and that no degree of morality, ordinance, culture, church attendance or good behavior can help man take one step toward heaven. We believe that God gives and will not take back eternal life for those who have made a genuine decision.(Romans 6:23; Eph. 2:8-9; John 1:12, 10:29-30, 14:6; Titus 3:5; 1 John5:11-13)
We believe people were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence. (John 3:16, 14:17; Rom. 6:23, 8:17-18; 1 Cor. 2:7-9; Rev. 20;15)
MAN AND SIN
We believe that man was originally created in the image and after the likeness of God. We believe that man fell through sin and, as a consequence of his sin, lost his spiritual life and is alienated from God. We believe that apart from divine grace man cannot know God. (Gen. 1:26, 2:17, 6:5; Ps. 14:1-3, 51:5; Jer. 17:9; John 3:6, 5:40, 6:35; Romans 3:10-19, 8:6-7; Eph. 2:1-3; 1 Tim. 5:6; 1 John 3:8)
SATAN AND SIN
We believe that God created an innumerable company of sinless spiritual beings, known as angels; that one, "Lucifer, son of the morning" the highest in rank, sinned through pride thereby becoming Satan. We believe that Satan is the originator of sin, leads man into sin, and counterfeits the works of God by fostering religious movements and systems of doctrine, which systems in every case are characterized by a denial of the efficacy of the blood of Christ and of salvation by grace alone. (Isa. 14:12-17; Ezek. 28:11-19; 2 Peter 2:4; Jude 6; Gen. 3; Rom. 5:12-14; 2 Cor. 4:3-4, 11:13-15; Eph. 6:10-12; 2 Thes. 2:4; 1 Tim. 4:1-3)
We believe that a great company of angels kept their holy estate and are before the throne of God, from whence they are sent forth as ministering spirits to serve those who will inherit salvation. (Luke 15:10; Eph. 1:19-23; Heb. 1:14; Rev. 7:11-12)
